Tipu's Palace Mug

The history of Bangalore is inextricably linked to the history of Tipu Sultan. This Ceramic Mug carries a sketch of Tipu's Summer Palace in Bangalore.

The construction of the palace was completed in 1791 and Tipu conducted the daily affairs of the state from the projected balconies of this palace. After his death in 1799, the palace was used by the British as a secretariat.  This secretariat was eventually moved to Attara Kacheri (predecessor of High Court building) in 1868.

The history encapsulated in this mug makes its a perfect souvenir for Bangalore. Use the mug for your favourite hot beverage or as a beautiful stationary holder. It's a great gift to the culturally inclined or to the history buff. It's also great memorabilia for the traveler or tourist to Bangalore. Buy the mug to cherish your memories of Bangalore and show that you have beenthere !
