We have a special relationship with our Gods. Their stories, character traits and temperaments shape our philosophy of life and inspire and guide us. Their quirks and their USP's attract us and keep our interest in spirituality alive. Our collection aptly named 'Ooperwala' is about looking at the Gods through the eyes of the modern day youth.
The Krishna Mug depicts Krishna as he is often visualized, surrounded by Gopi’s who are enchanted by listening to him playing the flute. Krishna embodies all things blissful - mellifluous voice, handsome visage, sweet temperament. Yet he broke all the rules social propriety and ultimately gave the most profound teaching on war in the form of Bhagwat Gita. And yet again his life was a lesson in love. He was a case of opposites. So all of you who feel pulled in different directions in life…take a breather…you can and should change to adapt to circumstances. Change is the only constant. And…there are no rules…except ‘love all’.
Each one of us has remembered our favourite God in our moment of despair. And each one of us has celebrated with them in our moment of happiness and humour. Have we not...as Indians have we not all 'Beenthere' !?
