High Court Mug

Sold out.

Would you know why the High Court in Bangalore was called 'Attara Kacheri' ? Find out with this Ceramic Mug printed with a beautiful sketch of the High Court, a famous landmark in Bangalore.

Attara Kacheri means 'Eighteen Offices'. When eighteen departments of the Mysore government shifted to this building from their previous office in Tipu's Summer Palace, the name stuck. Later in 1868 the office structure was constructed into a full-fledged secretariat building as we see it today.

The mug brings alive the red brick building of the Karnataka High Court. It's an ideal souvenir for Bangalore. Use the mug for your morning cuppa coffee or chai or as a stationary holder on your table. Gift it to a Bangalore city enthusiast or to a traveler or tourist to Bangalore. If you have been to Bangalore, pick up this mug to show that you have beenthere !

We include an Info Tag with each product that elaborates on the place and adds true souvenir value.
Care – Rinse the mug, do not scrub.
