Hyder Ali commissioned these private gardens in 1760. Today it is the pride of Bangalore, captured with a water colour sketch on this Ceramic Mug.
The Lalbagh Botanical Garden of Bangalore is spread over 240 acres, more than 6 times the original size commissioned by Hyder Ali. It was completed by his son Tipu Sultan. Built to acclimatize exotic plants, it is now also the venue of the biannual flower shows. The mug carries a sketch of the Glass House of Lalbagh which was built in 1889 to commemorate the visit of Prince of Wales.
The mug makes an ideal souvenir for the Lalbagh Garden and for Bangalore. It's a great addition to a collection of memorabilia on Bangalore and India. Use it simply as a collectible or as an arty stationary holder. It could also become your favourite coffee mug. If you live in Bangalore or have visited the city, then buy the mug to show that you have beenthere !
